Will the BIG10 Reverse Their Decision?

I'll believe it when I hear it from someone who matters. And even then, I'll still only believe it when I see the B1G take the field.
I think the B1G should be playing and it will happen. Now comes the interesting part - can they squeeze in enough games? I think that's the only part I'm wondering about.

This year I don't think missed "data points" are going to matter and if that undefeated is Ohio State or even Penn State I would bet a lot of money that they would be in.
It won't matter anyway. The whole "data point" BS was just rationalization to help get Ohio State into the playoffs ahead of other teams who arguably were more deserving. Whatever benefits Ohio State is what will be used as the rationale in any particular instance.

8 games starting Oct 17th, that allows for 1 bye week.

So they will play 6 within their division and 2 outside I guess? (Assuming they all play)

I am guessing OSU will not be playing Iowa, Wisconsin or Minnesota in their cross over games.

I would think the BoneG will schedule the toughest schedule possible for OSU to attempt to say they played as many meaningful games as other teams that have played two more total games than them. That said, the toughest cross over game will be at OSU and it might be whom they project to be 2nd in West so they don't play same team twice (championship game). You know they will do everything possible with the schedule to position OSU for playoff consideration.

I can see this. With the way the SEC has scheduled this year, an 9-1 SEC team might get a spot over an 8-0 tOSU if they give them a cupcake schedule

Big10 'leadership' between the conferences takes them a few notches down after this huge debacle. Their 'out' (rapid testing) allows them to not publicly say they were idiots and jumped the gun.

In that scenario they should only use the division games to decide who plays in the title game.

Only 1-2 cross division makes for some really unbalanced SOS within conference. Maybe cross division could be a tie breaker

Announcement supposedly coming this morning. Looks like they will have no scheduled bye week.

Sept. 24? Yeah, haha, way to wait out the Covids folks.

I'm not a tweeter and couldn't see the full post/info. With no bye week, do they have a plan for rescheduling?
