Will the BIG10 Reverse Their Decision?

I will be surprised if there is a playoff.
I think they should modify it without the multiple sites and do it like the Final Four but extend the dates.
Get tested before departing, for the most part quarantine for a week at the destination, play both games. Wait 5 days while testing, then play the Natty.

These media guys will do anything for clicks... It isn't happening! The B1G would need IL, NW, Maryland, and Rutgers to flip to even have a shot and they have all made it pretty damn clear where they stand. It's almost mean how they keep dangling the carrot in front of the fans but LOL I'm here for it.

After Saturday, I don't think I really care if the Big 10 does/doesn't play or if anyone else continues to play. These games were mostly played in sterile environments and lacked energy. The few places that allowed some fans felt ok. The NFL seems ok. But college seems weird. Either let the fans in or just shut 'er down.

Arrowhead had 16,000 in attendance last Thursday. That felt great. IDK how these colleges can look at that and still say no fans or even worse, no football at all after seeing that.

Sounds like announcement coming tonight.

Nebraska gon Nebraska

I'd be surprised if they don't come back.
Say they start up Oct 24th. That's 10 weekends until playoffs. I don't think they'll want to play Xmas weekend, so 9 weekends it is.
IMO, they'll do division only. So that's 6 games + 1 bye + Champ game + Xmas weekend = time for playoffs.

Big 10 is going to play. The question now is will they be eligible for the playoff? They're only going to play 8 games?

So the b1g pounded home just how much their decision was based on science. What changed with the virus? Are things looking better now in their eyes than a month ago?Myocarditis no longer a worry? It'll be interesting to hear how they spin this.

They will say better testing now available and that the myocarditis information/worry has changed since they made their decision back in August.

Yes because they will whine and cry and stomp their feet until they get their way. The conference is full of insufferable petulant children and are led by similar people. How on earth could college football go on without them, HOW DARE THEY?! They are the golden gods of college sports. If they're only playing 8 games but they're all against the best, toughest competition in college football, what more is there to prove? Of course they'll want an equal seat at the table, despite taking an extra month and a half off and playing at least 2 fewer games than everyone else.

That's how I see it going as well. And the media will be more than ready to let them right back in the discussion.
