Will the BIG10 Reverse Their Decision?

Playing football in Late Nov to February in the upper Midwest only makes sense if games are played indoors. That could be done by the Big 10 with Domes in Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Detroit and outside in DC. But IMO why would schools prefer to play at neutral sites vs. home stadiums.

The Big 10 realizes they made a serious mistake. The SEC, ACC and Big 12 will have a legitimate playoff and they won't be involved.

Also, if Big 10 schools are serious about academics, why would you start the season around Thanksgiving Weekend? I believe many schools start their dead and final weeks right after that.

Unlike ISU, I think the Hawks academic calendar calls for students to go home at Thanksgiving but they would complete dead and finals weeks remotely. Not sure what other Big 10 team academic calendars are after Thanksgiving.

What a stupid comment. You can't provide evidence. That literally violates HIPAA.

And are you trying to saying that someone who had cancer for 5 some years died covid?
So you're expecting me to believe this without evidence then (or at least no evidence beyond "people are saying")? This is the internet. I have 50 doctors and nurses saying your sources are bunk. Oh, and I'm also dating a Canadian supermodel.

And yes, I am saying that. Having cancer doesn't make you immune to all other diseases

The SEC with generally milder climates would maybe make sense for a late start. Upper midwest in December?

Might as well have everyone run the wishbone again.
I mean, it is the Big 10. Anything that wasn't around when Minnesota was a powerhouse is an abomination against God

I have knowledge of coding as having to deal with stuff on a decent sized ambulance service as the treasurer. My sister is the former CFO of two MN hospitals and I would ask her for help when we had coding problems. We then hired a company to do it. We paid them a 30% commission, our revenue jumped 30% (after commissions) from their coding ability. The coding world is cut throat.
You got it. It's amazing if you know how to code how that can drive revenue and profitability.

Unless you have an interest in helping the b1g and PAC save face.

Mandel is from Ohio, a Northwestern grad, who lives on the west coast (I think). He just apologized earlier this week for being too condescending. He blamed it on the stress of the last 5 months instead of realizing he's just a smarmy prick. I can't stand the Big 10 media. They've mocked the Big 12 at every opportunity. They can sit in their own **** a little longer.

Where is the Nick at Nite Conference that I think goes by the Pac-12 anymore in all of this? You know... the Nick at Nite conference? It's that conference/network that I guess you assume still exists, but hasn't really been remotely relevant since the days of cable, and was at best, only the thing you watched late at night when nothing better was on. You know.... the Nick at Nite conference! Anyway, I'm sure someone here knows which conference I'm talking about. If so, let me know what they are doing.

Your help is needed to understand the impact of COVID-19! A team at the University of Louisville is conducting a study about the impact of COVID-19 related stressors on Americans and our communities. Please take 15-25 minutes to complete this online survey (https://louisvilleeducation.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_e3PcpY8ablQlccl). You will not be asked to provide your name, and responses will be kept completely confidential. This study is being conducted under the supervision of Dr. Patrick Pössel, and any questions about the study should be directed to him ([email protected]).
Do I get a cheap, high quality jersey for completing the survey?

Pics of you with the super-model? Lol.

Do you think the NFL teams like Minnesota (no fans in stadium in September, including vs Green Bay) or Indianapolis are going to want college players/fans potentially contaminating their facilities as they near the playoffs?

Come on, neither Minnesota or Indianapolis has to worry about the playoffs.

Does it include that 2000+ number from including the antigen tests? I saw an article in another paper saying about the same thing that included them.

Yes it does. The antigen tests were about 1300 of the 2600 cases reported. Even without those tests, it was the second highest day of cases since this started, only outdone by the day before.
We are on a severely bad trend.

Looking at worldometers, they must have overstated our total yesterday by 200 cases. Idph site says 927 and worldometers says 737 but both have the same number. Yesterday the idph said 860 so I don't know if you are including 400 cases from the days before or not? I see the 24th was raised to 1400+ some. Maybe some from that day got pulled into yesterday?

Are antibody test results also being included in the numbers?

That was a thing a while ago but not sure how many states were doing it that way.

Idph started including them yesterday, so worldometers which is what we have both said we use also, does also.

Antibody tests are not included in the positive case numbers. Antigen tests are not antibody tests.

Yeah and that needs to be clearly communicated, and something that's consistent across the board for all states.

That feels like it's asking a lot, sadly.
