Wigginton declaring for NBA Draft, not hiring agent

Why? Frankly, it seems surprising to me he’d wait so long because it seems clear that he won’t get drafted. But if he’s made it this far, it’s not shocking he’d wait until tomorrow.
Get it over with. Better 1 hour early than 1 minute late.

There is no way Wigginton or Lard goes 1st round this year. I'm not worried at all, both have a huge ceiling talent wise but have a lot of work to do on their game before they are locks to go pro early and the best advice they could get is to stay another year in college. I think both are at least 3 year guys. Wigginton's future is at PG in the NBA because he is undersized at 6-2 188 to be a SG and he showed that he has a lot of work to do running the point when Babb got shut down. Same thing for Lard at 6-9 225. He's undersized at PF or C without adding another 25 lbs of muscle or adding a 3 point shot. I actually think that Lard has a higher ceiling than Wigginton does at this point because he has the frame and skill set to improve quicker at a position that is tougher to find talent at.

This cant be more off. NO WAY Wigginton stays 3 years.

Cmon guys... take a breather.
If he wants to return he's not missing the deadline by one minute.
Frankly this thread is embarrassing.
It's a figure of speech, it had nothing to do with the actual deadline. Frankly it's been far different than most other players I know of who do this. Most of them just want to get the process done so they can move on. I think he comes back, which is why I don't see the wait.

Unless he is still working out with teams today, surprises me he waits until tomorrow.

Kids these days all seem to be making a big deal about taking their time and being professional in the decision-making process. I'm guessing he's doing that, rather than just being like "Hey mom, I'm going pro!".

Count me in with those who think we're making the big dance with or without him.

But why early?
Still taking workouts and gathering info?
There have probably been 30+ players that announced today... not sure how this is different than most other players you know.

If he goes undrafted he's probably stuck in Europe w/ no hope of NBA ever again, or in the NBA D League making 40k/year. Its not like he has easy decision here. If he has the certainty going to be a first round pick, go for it - but lot of bad advice out there as well.

I think as ISU fans been wildly disappointed with our great program players not getting drafted the last few years - whereas LW is most likely the opposite... put up a good/average stat line (albeit great for a freshman) but will be drafted highly on potential... whereas MM, GN, and Kane type players were discounted for that.

I think you're just arguing for the sake of arguing now.

Why do you even care when Lindell decides to announce his decision? All we know for sure is that he has to decide by tomorrow. Outside of that, I don't care at all when Lindell and his family want to do it. I'm not in their shoes, and therefore have no idea what they are even going through right now.

The fact that people even care when he makes his decision is frightening. And selfish. Do you really live your life through when these kids make these decisions?
