Wigginton declaring for NBA Draft, not hiring agent

It’s taking so long bc he might just be seeing who else stays in draft.. every guard that stays in draft lessens his shot at being drafted.

May 30th is the deadline day. There was nothing said or written that Lindell was going to announce on that day.
Why would he say what day he's going to announce or decide? Everybody knows the deadline, which means he will decide on that day or sooner and tell people when he's ready. And there's no benefit to withdrawing earlier than needed. Might as well take all the time available to make a decision. There may still be teams giving him feedback. He's probably not getting drafted this year if he stays in. But he may as well work out for as many teams as possible in case he blows them away.
It seemed to me he was working out with teams that are going to be picking early in the 2nd round. I doubt teams guarantee anything, let alone spending a pick in the 30s or 40s on a guy not invited to the combine.
Either way, best of luck to LW. I think the smart move in all aspects is to come back to ISU and prove he's a legit PG prospect and get first round money next year. I love his ambition and confidence. If that pushes him to take a shot at beating some long odds and staying in the draft, so be it.

I
I still think the most important determinant of next year's potential success is babb's health. I might take a guarantee on a healthy babb over a return from wigginton.

(ducking for cover....)

I sure hope Babb is healthy. But the wheels truly didn’t fall off the bus until Solo got hurt.

Last season was a **** show for many reasons. Some that could have been avoided. Some that couldn’t have.

I haven't been following this thread, but I assumed on day one he wouldn't be back. Because, Cyclones.

He's been travelling the country and not in school. How does anyone think he could possibly come back now that he's been gone an entire semester? I'm guessing it's not even academically possible at this point but a lot of people on here know more than me.

Gone an entire semester? What are you talking about?

School has been over for a long while.

He was in school until school let out for the SUMMER. There were lots of videos posted to the basketball programs social media showing him working out with his teammates.

Did he even go to class 2nd semester? I never heard anyone say he was even on campus after the season ended. If I'm wrong -- EDIT: and apparently I am -- I apologize.

I assume he has since he's been in team videos.

Holy smokes, I haven't even thought about this topic yet. You guys are actually concerned that he is leaving? Dude was working out for teams till a few a days ago, he's not gonna say he's coming back till that's over. If he isn't back I would be STUNNED.

There must be some workaround or schedule juggling that allowed for it. If he knew that testing the waters would ultimately make him academically ineligible then he would have just hired an agent and gone all in right from the jump.
