Who will get Myles Turner?

Wow, I think this is pretty exciting. Big 12 is going to be really really tough conference next year. Should have 3-4 teams in the top 15 pretty much all season. Gonna be a lot of fun to watch!

Hopefully the conference will make a little better showing in the dance this time around though...

In before twocoach says "We want Devonte Graham more."
I'm a KU fan and I'll say that before twocoach. Would take Graham over Turner every time. Just because of need at that position. I don't feel KU lands him, I think Graham stays close to home and ends up at NC State. KU's success will depend on how much the two freshman guards improve. If Tharpe is still starting, it will be very good news for ISU and Texas.

You say that now and then Tharpe will inexplicably go off both times we play you guys.

Any word down there on Tharpe taking that photo of the strippers nipple? I don't think he should be suspended from anything, but I'd love to hear how the meeting went. How do you (if you're Bill Self) not laugh when asking Tharpe about it?

I said weeks ago as soon as Graham became a possibility that he was more needed than Turner. Graham was listed as #36 in the last class rankings and has narrowed his list to Kansas or NC State. I would have been thrilled to have Turner, no doubt, but we are pretty stacked with bigs already. PG was our biggest problem last year and our biggest problem next year. We'll see if Self can get Graham on board. NC State is the hometown school like Texas was for Turner, so it's an uphill battle there as well. The only different being that NC State will be pretty bad next year whereas Turner had a choice between two Top 10-15 teams.

Just look at him and shake your head side to side. That's all you can really do. Knuckleheads will always be knuckleheads. no matter how old they are.

So, even with Turner's commitment to Texas, experts would still have ISU starting the season before them correct?

it was laughter, not anger, that occurred when I read that. Cliff Alexander is going to be pretty good next year. Any big from ISU? I'd take that action all day.

As much as I think this guy is a tool I have to agree with him. As someone that followed Cliff's recruitment closely, he'll be one of the best big man in the country next year. Easily could have been a lottery pick too.

Knuckleheads are exposed as knuckleheads at KU when they suck at basketball and no one chooses to cover his ***.

Huh? Even before turner's committment, most people I've seen have had Texas ranked before ISU. Adding Turner will obnly raise that. Texas will easily be a Top 10 team now.

Texas is the favorite to knock KU off the top now. They already had the best shot next year because they bring everyone back. Now they're legit title contenders.

Yikes.

@JonRothstein: Early prediction on Texas' 14-15 starting five --- Isaiah Taylor, Javan Felix, Jonathan Holmes, Myles Turner, Cameron Ridley....

Meh. I think we can take them.

Morris = Taylor
BDJ>>>> Felix
Hogue<Holmes (we will see how Hogue's offensive game progresses
Niang< Turner (The crafty veteran is going to make it close though)
McKay>Ridley (The big man won't be able to keep up)
ISU Bench> Texas bench.
Hoiberg>>>> Barnes

Only thing that matters

Niang will make Myles Turner look like a 1-star recruit on the defensive end. Turner might score 40, but if he does, Niang will score 50.
