Who will get Myles Turner?

I think he will choose KU. Bill is great at closing the deal. It's usually an ego thing.

I will take McKay outplaying Cliff as well. So our 2 bigs over Alexander, yes we will be fine. Id rather see him at Texas and in the Big 12. We will still compete for the title i believe and the Big 12 being stronger will be even better so im ok with seeing him and Alexander twice a year. Shoot most people were all weak in the knees after Wiggins committed but weve all seen Freddy put together a squad that will do just fine against that type of talent.

I think Jameel McKay will hold his own against your bigs as well... And we all found out what Dustin Hogue is capable of against an Embiid-less KU front line in the XII tourney last year too.
Fair enough. Given the choice of Alexander or either McKay or Hogue and I'd choose Alexander. Just my opinion. He's slated to be the #2 pick in next year's NBA draft for a reason.

What about Alexander or Niang? Just for next year alone?

Edit: This is a bit of a bait job. You don't have to answer.

While I agree and believe Alexander will likely be a double double machine next year we all know the NBA drafts more on potential than it does actual production... Being the potential #2 pick doesn't mean he is going to be as dominant as Anthony Davis was in his one year.

Yeah I want to know this, would you rather have a known 16 pt/5 assist average, Junior post man in Niang? Or the unknown in all hype frosh Alexander? Serious question as of today.

That doesnt mean much as far as production at the college level for next year though. I mean Kwame Brown was projected as the number 1 pick all along as well without even going to college

He's going somewhere in the Big 12. I wish he would go to SMU because I don't to have to see him play ISU and I don't want him to play at Ohio St, whose fans rival even the most delusional fan bases with national title talks after doing nothing at all.

I would say KU fans are some of the most delusional, especially you.

I hope TX or KU land him. I think it's great for the conference to land such an outstanding talent and even more fun to see them visit Hilton. These elite players just don't scare me like thy used to.

His favorite player growing up was Kevin Durant. He has the opportunity to follow his foot steps and be the next great to come out of Texas. So add another vote for Texas.

Top draft picks are normally based on potential/ ceiling, not current production. See- Andrew Wiggins or Joel Embiid. Not saying you are wrong, I think Alexander is going to be an outstanding college player.
