Who should we replace SDSU with?

Portland State, they only have 11 games scheduled and have an open date on October 20th.
I vote james madison...tough team but most likely itching to take the gamble

No one. We've already paid $425,000 to SDSU. We're not giving refunds to ticket holders. So to bring another team in, means another $400,000 check to write with only concessions as income.
Montana has that date open.

Pretty tough, you have to find a team that has that week open, first then either only is playing 11 games this season, (10 for FCS) thus having the 12th game eligible or, cancels one like us between now and then. I see it as unlikely we find one, as of right now, Im not sure anyone in FBS or FCS fits those credentials.
If, and thats a big if we are 5-6 looking for a bowl game, I have a feeling Nebraska will be in the same boat. Nebraska vs ISU rematch at a neutral site in December, fighting for a bowl game.

It looks like US Bank stadium is hosting a basketball tournament that weekend but Arrowhead is available.
We could play anyone. Do you guys realize that we were on pace to score on every single drive last night before the cancellation? Playoff bound!
I would presume that another option is to pay an FCS team that is open on Oct 20 who has a game they can elect to cancel (like a Div II game of a FCS-non scholly game). That or seek some sort of waiver from NCAA that would allow the FCS team to play an extra game.
