Auburn has to be somehwat skepticl of this decision. I think a coach that was not previously on staff needs to be given three years. He will be given that and then booted. Honestly, I don't think Rhoads will ever leave for another job. If he does, I will never believe anything again.

Paul seems to genuinely WANT to coach here. JP will make it worth his while to stay, I believe.

Ya he is here till he is done coaching, might get some entertaining offers, but Pollard screwed up once he won't do it again, he will throw the $$ when need be. Ferentz and Rhoads have it made in the shade.

I truly dont believe CPR would ever leave.... He is from here and OBVIOUSLY loves being here. It would have to be one hell of a job for him to leave here... but I think if he keeps it up and is successful for years to come he wont leave, seems to sorta be a dream job for him

This was the consensus about Chizik, that his family would make him stay. Now the consensus is Chizik was "going to jump at the first opportunity." :biglaugh:

Have to say that we had another coach for a different sport that I thought would never leave either. Anything can happen and loyalty tends to only go wallet deep these days.
