Depends on the manner in which we win. If we blow them out, no need to rush the field. If its a last second field goal or if we break a pass of theirs on 4th down in the end zone, then yeah, rush the field.
I won't be rushing the field, kinda hard from the upper deck anyways. I'll be content getting back out to the parking lot to celebrate!
I kinda like to go with this one on whether I rush or not (except rivalry/hatred games - I'll always wanna rush against a nebraska, iowa, or mizzou victory.)
If we win handily - I think an overrated chant is in order. If we win on a last second play/FG/TD/etc. - then open the floodgates.
heard they have a good RB this year. almost ran for 40 yards at one home game in waist high snow, before passing out.
We've rushed the field after 3 of our last 5 home wins.
I personally hate seeing our fans rush the field in most cases. The only one it was really justified in in recent memory was the Iowa game last year. But honestly, we're always pretty much at least a 2 TD dog against them no matter what the circumstances are, so its always great to beat them.
i have always hated this chant. it isnt saying crap to the other team...it is insulting your own team. it is saying "we suck and we still beat you. you arent as good as everyone thinks apparently." if the ENTIRE stadium is chanting this, it will be everyone minus one... i will never chant it. i only hope someday my fellow fans understand and stop insulting their own team.

I will be rushing the field because I do not EXPECT to beat KU. If you can find more than a handful of fans to EXPECT to win the game, I will not rush the field if we win.

this is what JP and GC have identified as the problem with IState athletics. sounds like GC has the football team believing. i realize the fans will be a tougher accomplishment.
