Whats left in this recruiting class....

I saw a document yesterday staying they will be celebrating the signing of 28 student athletes. Not sure if walk ons are in that count.
This tallies with what some of us were thinking: Of the six December signees, three are allowed to be part of the 2015 class. The three remaining December signees, then, will go on the 2016 class. That leaves 22 non-December signees to ink tomorrow.

I think this might be the way it goes.

Just looked at Rivals commitment list, it's at 24 not including Park. With him, it's 25, of course, so we've got room for three more kids, it appears.

Regarding Catalina, Florida has at least 26 commits right now as well. No idea if that puts them at their limit but they have to be close.
Since he'll be a graduate receiving non-football scholarship money, maybe he doesn't count against the 25 limit? When he signed up with ISU financial benefits, I think this was the upshot of the press release. Certainly not positive, though.

Having 26 commits won't stop a team from finding a way to add a player with proven ability like Catilina. It would only have an impact if all 26 players were a better option than Catilina - which is highly unlikely. Other wise the bottom guy either gets bumped or switched to a grey shirt status. Successful recruiting needs to focus on the end result and some of the details can leave either players or schools ending up being dumped on.

My hope with Catilina is that he has enough of a connection with CMC's staff to stay with the Cyclones, but he certainly has other options available to him.

Is anyone else expected to commit today or tomorrow on signing day? It looks like a great class as is, but it'd be awesome to get 1 or 2 more to add on.
