Whats left in this recruiting class....

sorry I was not clear........the quality of the guys he got to come and visit was impressive..............wish he would have pulled one of them in but Im impressed he got them here to visit.........with a year to recruit I like his chances next year

This may not end up a high rated class , but man, what a month its been. Cannot wait to win some games this fall.

I'm with you...can't wait for Sept. 3rd to roll around.

Right now 247 has the current ISU recruiting class ranked #53. That is the highest rank since 2006, and in those nine years between the two, ISU had an average recruiting class rank of #62.5.

Not too shabby for a coaching staff that has had, basically, a little over two months to work on it.

Follow the PLAN, follow the PLAN. WIN we can, WIN we can. Go to bed dumb *** you are tired!

I have been impressed and amazed by this staff in 6 short weeks.

I had low expectations last December but so far they have proved me wrong.

A+

Seems like a good start. Let's just remember who we are. We're still the worst program in ncaa history. Hoping for a 6 win season.

I dont use 247 a lot. That is impressive, though. CPR seemed to have classes in the 50s and a couple in the 60s while he was here. Really helped by the stud 4 star (campos, lazard) in some classes though. Take those out and its 20+ spots lower each year. So the bottom half was awful of each class.

Why does the past matter today, now, at this moment? The past will not have a cause and effect impact on this program moving forward.

Who are we? We are Iowa State, and we refuse to be pigeonholed by anyone else's subjective viewpoint.

Go ahead, you remember the past. The rest of us are looking forward, eager to discover what awaits us in the coming years.

Actually I'm wide awake since I'm the 3rd shift warehouse manager here, and have 7 more hours till my weekend starts...lol

Actually, talking about myself. I'm alittle upset that someone has the same nickname I do.

I think we add another 5 or 6 guys at the most.

We will take Powell if we can get him. We have a chance. I think Alaric Jackson goes to Iowa.

David Montgomery RB.
DeShaunte Jones WR Maybe Ballard WR if we do not get Jones. Grades might be an issue.

I want Pine at LB but consider him doubtful. But you never know.

We will likely add 2 Defensive Linemen. Could be amongst several guys. Outside chance of 3 Defensive Linemen.

Based on some Twitter creeping, it looks like Ballard may commit on his visit.

Dylan Powell has said via twitter that he is announcing tonight at 8pm. It is between VT, ISU and Stanford.

Hoping we pull the upset, but most think Stanford is a lock.
