Whats left in this recruiting class....

Does Foster know something we don't? Powell commit?

Ain't it great Big Sean's a believer? He's working hard in a way simiilar to Allen Lazard's work on the recruiting hustings before his class's signing day. Love to see it. Go after 'em, Sean, bring them home!

Can count a certain number back based on last years class. I think 28 is the absolute max they could sign this year.
 
Would like to see Park, Montgomery, Joshua Bailey (the other one is going to VT for sure)...on top of that, we need one more OLine guy. Losing out on Powell in the end was tough, especially with Catalina now getting all kinds of major P5 offers.

With that said, I can't wait to see what this coaching staff can put together as far as a recruiting class when they have a full year to work at it. Add to that, if ISU can get back to a bowl game...could be very good.

This is what i've seen that (3) from this class would be counted against 2015 class. Thus we have room for the Bailey Brothers and say Pine....

Looks like Pine is very committed to Pitt. Not going to happen.

David Montgomery RB will likely sign. And likely Joshua Bailey DT. JaQuan Bailey DE is likely to go to VT. We will probably end up with 27 commits. Very good class.
 
We might be saving a spot for Ballard since he is retaking his ACT soon. He is a freak athlete.

If this happens, i agree with you to a point. Montgomery is a 2* kid - but i definitely will trust Ayeni's ability to eye talent. To get (2) DT in this recruiting class the caliber of Johnson and Bailey would be Awesome! Do you realize it took CPR until his third year to get 2 DT recruits and he never repeated that quantity until 2015 when they signed 3. To me, DT is a very difficult position to recruit. Being able to get space eaters on the roster for depth is huge. Hate to say it, but one thing that most impresses me about EIU is that they always work in underclassmen for snaps so when its their turn, their not raw. They develop their DL and OL especially well, it should be emulated.

However, where we differ is that i think there will still be a mystery recruit - on nobodys radar.... CMC knows how to recruit and something tells me he's gonna drop something on us tomorrow!!!!
 
I saw a document yesterday staying they will be celebrating the signing of 28 student athletes. Not sure if walk ons are in that count.

Montgomery has a 3* composite rating and the #74 RB overall.

D Montgomery is a solid RB..he's rated higher than our original commit Kene from Texas. He's not a 2 star kid. Don't like rivals never have. I always thought rivals was just so far behind rating kids and having correct offers from kids etc..it seems rivals is only concerned with top 300 kids nationally and rest they just throw in the database. Scout and 247 have him as a 3 star.
 
Regarding Catalina, Florida has at least 26 commits right now as well. No idea if that puts them at their limit but they have to be close.
