Colerain HS is big time football. This kids looks like he would be a huge steel at the last minute. He looks to have big time play making ability.

Who would you compare Montgomery to as far as running style? Speed or power, little bit of both?

Mike Warren kind of but he may have better vision as a high schooler. I'm don't know if he has the finishing power of Warren. That's one thing Warren does at an elite level. He will accelerate into contact.

I'm gonna guess (the best most of us here can do) that a maximum of three December signees (IIRC the rule) can be counted on last year's class. So, 22 known commitments minus those three leaves 19 commitments at present. Only 25 can be signed in any one class normally, so six commitments left to go?
The old grayshirt?

combine Hewitt & Powell with these 2, & any besides would be gravy.
Haven't heard much about Hewitt since his visit, but my guess is that Powell is going to Stanford since he got offered and is visiting this weekend.

It sucks that we had Campbell, Castillo, and Powell all visit on the same weekend and now likely won't wind up with any of them.

I've been very disappointed with the class Campbell has put together this far. Not nearly enough unranked guys with 0 P5 offers.
Couple of two stars already including an in state from Iowa. Will all future commits classes essentially be 3 star or better? That would be a change.

Is there something I'm not aware of? According to 247, Trey Scott made his ISU prediction after Syracuse had offered, and the Miami prediction is really old.

He is going to UCF to be with his girl. Staff cancelled in home.

What about the Missouri kid that's down to Stanford and ISU?

Among Deshaunte Jones' many offers are Navy, Army, Air Force. The kid must be sharp as well as talented.

would not get my hopes up for Powell

Agree with other poster that the trio of Powell, Campbell and Castillo were really something........hope this is a sign of things to come with future classes

You hope not getting those guys is a sign of things to come??

I will stay this Staff has the biggest push here so far.... Has me super excited for next year, I know recruiting is just a part of the output, but so far I give them an A grade, for taking over pretty late in this recruiting cycle and doing what we have in a little amount of time. Very excited to see the the output next week when this all final.... I honestly see surprises coming over the next few days, there was always rumblings of that with CPR, but is feels real with CMC.....

There's definitely a renewed energy compared to the previous regime, as well as utilizing modern communication/PR channels to relate to the kids. Time will tell if they can raise the level on player development as well as coaching/teaching. There's not a lot of place to go but up from a gameday tactics/adjustments standpoint. To this point, it's been impressive I must admit, and better than I would have guessed.

I totally agree, with this, my expectation were low as he seemed to be keying very much on hiring coaches under him he knew from past jobs, which is okay, accept he is soo new. They have definitely exceeded my expectations.

Being an Ohio guy I feel this guy is the real deal. He plays against high caliber opponents each weekend. His film against this competition is sick. Makes tacklers look like Don Knotts look alikes. If we get this kid.......wow. They would put this kid in space where his moves result in big gains or td's.

Exactly, his team Colerain and the teams on their schedule are "on ESPN" kind of high school football teams. The kids he plays with and the kids he is making look silly in these highlights are very high caliber football players.
