What will Tebow haters say if.....

I don't hate Tebow as a person. But for the same reason I had issues with his persona in college, it's the same in the NFL. People worship him. Especially if he wins a couple games.

It'll be hilarious to watch people collapse when he starts to falter. He is not an NFL quarterback. He's essentially a glorified Ronnie Brown running a Wildcat offense. And, just like with Ronnie Brown and that Wildcat offense, NFL coaches and defensive players will figure it out. And when they do (maybe not this year, but definitely this off-season) his career as a quarterback will be over.

It seems like he's genuinely a really good person. I mean, he built a friggin hospital! But he's not long for this world as a successful quarterback.

I do not dislike him because of his religion, but because he brings up his religion too much, not too mention says things that are out of touch with reality.
I agree with this. Religion is private, keep it to yourself, no one else is interested. I don't care what he believes, just keep it to yourself.

why? I have no problem with him constantly talking about it, it is who he is. I wouldn't have a problem if he was of any other faith either.

Give the guy a receiver and I think his yardage goes up at least from what little I've seen. When you have Edward Scissorhands as your best wideout Joe Montana would have problems. I think if they draft a Blackmon or some other stud receiver he could be a decent QB.

Mostly because I do not care about professional athletes outside of the field of play, their personal beliefs on religion being near absolute bottom. Also, at this point it is commercialized and forced.

I'm pretty sure Tebow is a good person, so I want him to succeed. I could care less if he doesn't fit the "fantasy football QB mold." What I see is a very accountable, responsible and loyal young man that tries to make everyone around him better. He's respectful of EVERYONE, says the right things, works hard and leads by example. He gives credit for his success to EVERYONE but himself, including Jesus Christ. So what?

I think the true Tebow haters are few and far between in reality, but to the haters out there.....why do you really have a problem with Tim Tebow?.....because he's religious and gives praise to God for his success? The guy just built a hospital in a 3rd world country to give people he doesn't even know a good life for crying out loud. He wants to be a good role model and make a difference in people's lives and wants to be successful in LIFE, not just football. It takes some balls to stand up for your beliefs and I respect Tebow for that.

This is the type of guy I want my son to grow up watching.....not your typical selfish, money-hungry, disrespectful, self-entitled pro athlete that wants to admire himself in the mirror all day.

All In. Totally agree. Also Tebow has an excellent work ethic.

Tebow is sort of the Collin Klein of the NFL. Not the prototypical QB, but a good leader who wins games.

If he does win the Super Bowl there should be alot of people converting because there can't be much more solid proof of divinity.

What's going to happen during their first playoff game lets say against the Ravens. Ray Lewis will knock him out on the first option play they run. Then you have Brady Quinn to come in and run the same offense????

It is very possible that this Tebow thing can work, but the problem is that their is only 1 Tim Tebow. If he gets hurt they have no one else to run that offense. Unless they are running two completely different offensive schemes in practice with Quinn taking 1/2 the snaps, they are screwed.

Tebow is just lucky he plays behind the best offensive line in the NFL, a great TE and a whole slew of great wide receivers and a broncos organization that has been winning consistently for the past few years.

Oh wait... Never mind

This was funny... I almost thought you were serious for a second

Bingo. Look at the KC game, Tebow threw 8 passes, 7 of them hit the receivers on the hands, three were straight drops. Last night, 2 of his first three passes were flat out dropped, then another later in the game. When was the last time you saw a Broncos receiver even open? Guess what, when a guy can't get open you have to put the ball in a position that only the offense can get to it, or throw it away. Tebow made some great throws last night in some tight spots. I'm sure he would love to walk into a situation like Cam Newton with a Hall of Fame receiver, two good tight ends, and a former All Pro running back, but that's not the case and he is doing a damn good job of making chicken **** into chicken salad.

Another argument that I thinlk is funny is the people saying that Tebow is benefitting from a great running game. Where was that running game for Orton? The fact that Tebow himself poses a threat to run has to freeze the defense for a split second, giving his backs a chance to get past the first level. A guy like Orton doesn't give you that.

When the most prolific receiver on your team is Eric Decker you know you're not working with a full deck to start with. Tebow, and the coaches, seem to understand exactly what he's good at, run the ball, don't turn it over, make good passes when it's necessary, and then lean on a defense that is play exceptionally well.

He's not throwing for 400 yards and 4 TDs every game, but he's doing exactly what's needed for them to win ballgames.

What will Tebow lovers say if...Denver loses the next 3 games?

Not saying he will, but I am wondering what they will say when they lose their one argument that he just wins. He'll face @Minnesota, Chicago, New England.

Tebow is the man... I love watching him play. He loves it... and it shows. He's a stud.

I love watching Tebow play, but he is not a good NFL QB, at least not yet. Denver's Defense is playing great football right now, they are the main reason why they are winning right now. Tebow has played average football, at best.

Here's the way I see the benefits of Tebow

1. Doesn't turn it over
2. Very few negative plays, always seems to get a yard, throws it away when he needs to
3. Gives the backs an extra second to get to the second level
4. Buys time to let bad receivers get a little more separation (normal QB would not be able to find guys to throw to)
5. Good presense in the huddle
6. Helps the defense, controls the ball, doesn't put them in a short field or in a position of having to take chances
7. Throws well on the run and outside the pocket, also needed with bad O-line and bad receivers
8. "Gimmick" system gives what would otherwise be the worst collection of offensive talent in the league a chance to compete.
