What record do we finish with?

I think we still have a good shot at a winning season... 17-14... BUT 18-13 if we end up with a big upset.

I would love nothing more for Christmas to see our guys really step up and finish with the 18 win regular season total. Two wins in the Big 12s and theres your 20 win season.


But yes.. I know that 18 reg season wins is drinking a lot of the koolaid

Puts us at 15 wins that I feel good about. I don't think 18 is out of the question. The first 5 games of the conference season are HUGE. If we can go 3-2 I would be ecstatic and would set us up well going into the rest of conference play.

kenpom has us finishing 17-14, I will go one and done in the Big 12 tourney for a finish of 17-15 sounds about right
 
I'm going to give us 16 wins. The Big 12 is STACKED this year, and we're in the middle of the pack. We'll have to beat a few teams that we're not supposed to. NIT here we come.

I keep seeing 17-14... but we have an upset in there somewhere. Some team will come up to hilton and play like crap on a boring small crowd night and we will sneak out a win because of it.
 
What!?!?!? You mean our 31 points win over North Dakota doesn't mean we are going to have 20+ wins and be an NCAA team??? :jimlad:

I agree with what is being said in here. I haven't seen anything to make me believe we'll have more than 18 wins this season.

I can't argue with these predictions. Somewhat disappointing though given the hopes for the season and the supposed talent level we have. Also makes me very nervous for the next year or two when we lose CB and others.

I'll still hope for 20 :yes:
 
I really hope it doesnt happen... but I wont be shocked if 0-5 is our start to the Big 12. That would be meltdown city around here.
 
I think we'll find out pretty quickly if we're going to be a disappointing 17-18 win team or if we're going to get into NCAA consideration. In my opinion, we have to beat either Texas, Duke, or Kansas coming up. Gotta get 1 of those 3 to get that quality win and be taken serious. If we go 0-3 in those games, we're probably going to have to win ten conference games to make the dance, which isn't going to happen.

The Bradley game was encouraging to me. I'm not too concerned with the ND game. I knew that would be closer than expected. McDermott has some golden opportunities to get this program back on track. Hopefully him and the team take advantage.

Houston - TOSS UP....why because they just came back from Christmas break no idea what team will show up

I dont drink kool aid but I think a little to the negative so I can be surprised.

14 wins no NCAA and NO NIT

17-14. Big 12 is way to stacked up this year. i see us 6-10 in conference play and that is being generous.
 
I said 18 wins before the season (not counting B12T) and I'm feeling 19 right now. No real reason for the bump.
