Close. I can't imagine that there's a single game we play that we win by less than 50. The talent Kansas has will probably keep that margin right around 52-55.
I would say we'll win the national title this year, and set an record in the tournament for largest margin of victory in the championship game, as well as the largest margins throughout the tournament.
we could only lose 3 games all year....no I will rephrase it...we will only lose three games this year

you obviously need a fat crayon and and second grade paper so you can see that this was pure 150% sarcasim.....You now are more enept than the next idiot that believes this. I for one....believes 5 wins in the big12, I just decided to drink some kool-Aid and hope for the best. Since people ridiculed me on my predictions I wanted to drink some Cherry red Kool-Aid, so now I can dream and get those dreams crushed....

Man, I was hoping for good this year. But, 17-14. I say we actually win a big12 tourney game too, then lose 1. So 18-15, NIT second round. Final record 19-16
I think this team is capable of a 9-7 conference record, and a trip to the tourney. The problem is I can't remember the McD coached teams ever playing over their heads for a win. I've seen some close loses against better teams which makes me think we end up 7-9 in conference and a probable NIT bid.
I'm having a hard time finding 15 wins on that schedule, I just haven't seen anything that puts us in the up half of the big 12 thus far this season. The next 5 or 6 games are going to be huge, we need to pick up one of the big 3 games (UT, KU, Duke) and then a road win at Nebraska would be a big step towards a tourney bid. IMO if we lose that game at Nebby its going to set a bad tone for road games the rest of the year. I think theres a shot at 20 but sadly I see us hovering around .500.....I really really really hope I'm wrong.
Not that big of a stretch to beat a good team at home and drop a road game that we should win.
Especially at Colorado? What is our record the last 10 years there? 1 - 9, if that?
I know this is a prediction thread and meaningless internet jargon, but I just hope our team isn't thinking about their destination & is only thinking about getting better for their next opponent day in and day out. Setting expectations of getting to the dance is good and all, but this team really needs to focus on the race instead of the finish line to be successful.
