Actually haven't listened to their new stuff, I honestly wasn't aware they were still going. I remember not liking their album after Dosage very much and kind of stopped following them. Might have to check them out again. What do you think of their new stuff?
It’s serviceable but nothing like their vintage stuff. Ok but not great. Has a new tone to it but still sounds like collective soul.Actually haven't listened to their new stuff, I honestly wasn't aware they were still going. They did it with the Unreal 5 engine. Not a fan of that kind of music but man that video is like a feature film.
I thought it also looked like a video game. Pretty cool. They did it with the Unreal 5 engine.
Still Corners
"Last Exit"
First heard of them about six years ago and found they had new stuff in 2021. I just recently started getting into it.
Hughes is a fantastic guitarist, and Murray's vocals are dreamy. May be an acquired taste, but most of their songs are catchy and contain rich eclectic "desert guitar" licks. Their song themes are of riding the roads, SW imagery, and lost love.
"The Trip"
I guess I take for granted people know the stuff I listen to and are not fans. Then again If you have any interest in Still Corners, Cannons maybe be of interest to you, too.Never heard of them but they seem right up my alley. I'll definitely be checking them out.
Your convo hear w/ @Pitt_Clone inspired me to check out CS's most-recent from 2022 -- "Vibrating." I've missed the majority of material since "Dosage" & "Blender." Time flies. It’s serviceable but nothing like their vintage stuff. Ok but not great. Has a new tone to it but still sounds like collective soul.
