What Do You Hate About Our State?

Except we cant have them on the 4th either. Well, not legally.
 
For a state with the reputation of good schools, we sure still have our share of dumb ***** here.

I don't think people are necessarily embarrassed... They just feel like they want others outside of Iowa to know that Iowa isn't just cornfields next to bean fields next to more cornfields

1. Hawkeye Fans/Trailer courts
2. Weak Beer
3. No using rifles for deer season.
4. Mesquitos
5. Bitter *** cold weather that seems to last from November to April 20th.

But all this aside - I miss living in Iowa (except the Hawkeye fans).

Meth labs, jack-wagons, trailer trash....

Also, lack of great recreational outdoor parks and areas (due mostly to the no mountains/large bodies of water). Camping in Iowa is like sleeping on a manicured lawn, which is the way I though it was supposed to be until I went camping in the Catskills and Adirondacks.
