Im not defending the guy, I dont know him personally and dont have any reason to. I just dont give a rats *** if a man pays for sex. Who cares? Its sex. Sex is awesome. I have a bigger issue with people who drive drunk, and I guarantee a vast majority of the people trying to bring Birch down have drove drunk before.

Also, for the few people I know who know Birch, his marriage was over when this happened.

I don't know him either. And 100% agree that sex is awesome. But do not agree that all sex is awesome, in all circumstances. Just not rationale to think that is true. I have a bigger issue with drunk driving too. not sure what that has to do with anything. As far as I'm aware, no one is trying to bring him down. Glad to hear (I guess), that his marriage was over before he did that.

While it may seem minor, I'm sure Prohm has made attending class part of his team rules ( they are student athletes aftetall). It's ibvious Prohm is putting his foot down that the team will abide by the rules and if not, they don't play.. He has stated he is doing this as an example for the future of the program, and no better place to make it clear one more time than a home game against TCU.

Am I the only one who thinks or thought this could be the year? We won't have these type of players for 10 years+... coach needs to let his ego go and start having ALL of the players buy into him.

Bryce Dejan Jones was dismissed from USC and UNLV and forced to transfer. Nader was arrested at Northern Illinois and suspended for 6 games, benched and then encouraged to transfer. He then got the OWI here and had minor involvement in that whole Dejan Jones apartment mess with the marijuana involvement.

McKay and Burton quit during the season on their previous team.

If we are going to welcome talented headcase transfers, then when something finally goes wrong with them you can't pretend as if they were great citizens or didn't have problems before. McKay acting like this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

BDJ is gone, Nader got a minor in possession at Northern Illinois and Burton's mother passed away from cancer.

Lol, like most of your statements, that is a joke.... You don't let the kids do as they please just because they have talent, and they don't buy into you by watching their teammates be selfish *****, and break team rules, with no recourse. ....McKay has tested the water all year, he should have cracked down earlier, but I have no problem with him doing it now....

That's sad and defeatist talk. There's no way to say we won't have players this good again very soon, or right away.

agree. certainly understand that we are losing some truly amazing players this year (Georges, please don't go, I will miss you so much!), but already feeling pretty good about the team we will have next year. really.

I'm a gambling man... pm me your bet and I'll more than likely take it... player wise we are right where we need to be for a final 4... No way we have this kind of talent within the next 10 years... I'll be waiting.

You'll be waiting. I don't gamble. Feel free to fire away with something ridiculous there.
If you have no belief that we can build this kind of team again, what is even the point? That's really, really sad.

for some reason, I can't like your comment. So "like".

Let's end this all now, he wasn't going to class... Prohm wants kids to graduate... McKay already has the grades to play, so he didn't go to class for a day or two. Prohm, who has had a bad vibe all year with McKay wanted to let him know who was boss.. (again)

I don't agree with Prohm because most players (who think they are going pro) don't go to class their spring classes... but most of you already know my take with Prohm. So let me have it.

If skipping class is what this is all about, I still support Prohm on this.

I don't think Prohm would do this if Jameel wasn't already on a very short leash. And there is nothing wrong with expecting the guys to attend class IMO.

If you don't like Prohm for this, then you surely aren't going to like Matt Campbell much at all. He demands you not only attend class, but you have to arrive 10 mins early AND you must sit in the first two rows of class. Prohm is a cakewalk compared to what Campbell expects.

And someday when McKay is a mature adult, he will look back on this and realize that Prohm did this not because he doesn't like Jameel, but exactly the opposite..... he cares about him a LOT as a young man. Prohm understands that Jameel's professional prospects aren't the greatest and it is in his best interest to get a degree.

Prohm is doing exactly the right thing IMO.

outstanding post. Coach said he loved Jameel. I believe he means it. regardless of what Jameel thinks of him. Outstanding person.

Thanks for bringing this up... I believe in Campbell... He is a true leader and it's easy to follow a true leader...

Prohm doesn't care about McKay as a person... if it were up to him.. he would have him eliminated from the whole situation. There are people above him telling him to keep him around for a reason.

I realize this is a forum for speculation and insight but were there actually 437 posts on this? Prohm dodged the question all last night. I really don't think anyone but Prohm knows exactly what is going on and McKay will soon. So, is there anything in the thread worth reading?

The stupidity in this post is top notch. Bravo
