Why am I not surprised this is in ESPN's power rankings?

14. Iowa State (6-3, 5-2 Big 12)

Week 11 result: defeated Baylor 28-14
What's next: at Texas (Saturday, 8 p.m. ET, Longhorn Network)

The more the Cyclones keep winning, the more everybody in Ames winces at the thought of losing their head coach. Matt Campbell has been that good and will no doubt be a hot commodity in the offseason. He has done an incredible job in leading Iowa State to its fifth straight win, the Cyclones' longest winning streak since the formation of the Big 12.

The problem with this thought from ESPN is that there aren't going to be a lot of high-profile jobs that are open. Maybe Ohio State? I doubt it. There's been some rumbling about Franklin at PSU. Seems like a long shot.

I think USC will be open, but doesn't seem like a fit for Campbell.

FYI, previous week he did not have TOE ranked, so I'm guessing he's one of the idiots who doesn't know the Idaho State Hawkeyes from the Ohio Cyclones.

Additional points would put us at #17 ahead of Washington.

Honestly, who gives a **** about the AP poll at this point? The only poll that matters is the CFP poll and we’ll find out where we stand on Tuesday. At this point in the year the ap poll is treated like how we treat the coaches poll at the beginning of the year.
