We didn't lose because of the missed block/charge call

Do you know anything about basketball??? It was a huge blown call and affected the outcome of the game... 4 point lead is huge at that point. and Deshaun Thomas hit the ball out Ejims hands on the rebound with 29 seconds. I credit Craft with making the three but that should have been to tie the game. wake up dude!! All of america is crying foul and saying it was a blown call... oh you must be right bitter hawk fans enjoying your NIT!

Of course it affected the outcome of the game, and Id like you to show me where I said it didn't. All I have repeatedly said is ISU could have, and should have, overcome it.

However, in the last 100 seconds of the game, ISU had one offensive possession which led to a TO, and tOSU had three possessions which led to 4 points.

Im not saying the call didnt suck, or that it didnt effect the outcome, I'm saying ISU should of overcome it. I guarantee you a team like KU would of won that game given the same scenario.

Quick Jamie. Dump FH anf sign this guy up. He has all the answers and would clearly do a better job. NOT!

Not saying that. However, Hoiberg has "let his guys play" in multiple close games this season, and probably lost 75% of them. As I said in another thread, I'm a huge Hoiberg fan, but I think he is still learning. The guy has made huge strides going from no coaching experience, to what he has done in 3 years, but he has some room for improvement still.

You don't lose a game because of one play. We still were up by 1 pt at that point in the game. I would blame the loss more on the turnover with a minute left and the missed rebound with 29 seconds left.

Did the refs miss the block on Craft. Yes.
Was it a bad call. Yes
Was it a close call. Yes
Was it the reason we lost the game. NO!

Yes, the call changed the game. The officials took the game out of the players hands with that awful call. All I heard about yesterday from the talking heads is that you have to give credit to Craft for making plays. What the hell was Will doing when he beat his guy off the dribble and gave ISU a 3 point lead.

If that basket counts (even with a no call in that situation), then ISU isn't in a position to turn that ball over. Additionally, you cannot say what OSU would have done with 29 seconds left and ISU leading.

That call totally changed the game by taking the game from the ISU players. I have no idea why officials are still impressed by non-basketball plays. Any fool can stand in a players way and fall down.
