Refs were sort of calling it close but after K-State started to get in foul trouble they starting to let things go, at least for K-State in the second half. Gregory fell down backwards twice and got to go to the line. Prior to that she went to the line after a shot of hers that was cleanly blocked. Iowa's not good on defense but they sort got screwed the last two minutes.
Dang that was close. Just glad time expired before the foul as you know how those things go, the Iowa player would have made both FTs. Clark wasn't touched out top, I think she just spun and twisted an ankle. The play before when it was tied, Clark couldn't believe she didn't draw a foul when she was the one pushing the KSU player out of her way. What a drama queen, complaining about every call. Takes after her coach.
of course on social media all the Iowa fans are crying about the refs. Iowa wbb never loses because of how they played.
She can’t drive without shoving that chicken wing into the defender
She wasn't even driving, she was trying to break free out on the perimeter to get a pass and get up a shot. The defender was in front of her, denying the entry pass so she just pushed her way through, then started throwing her arms up in exasperation because a foul wasn't called on the defender for being in her way.
Yeah that's a shame.
I would guess on average EICC's star gets called for two fouls. In reality she commits about 12-15 per game.
Sundell was hit in the throat in the first half on one of her drives. Sundell fouled Clark and was called for it but I was surprised they didn’t look at the play. Maybe they did during a time out but I don’t remember any mention that they did.
I'm no Iowa fan. The chicken winger gets away with bloody murder.
