Don't think there is a roster limit, just a scholarship limit of 13 for MBB and 15 for WBB.I think for WBB the scholarship limit and the roster limit is the same, 15, so it doesn't matter much. I do think she is, or was, put on scholarship.
Isn't MBB 15 roster but 13 maximum for scholarship?
In another thread someone said teams are limited to 4 walk-on players. I know they have "gray shirt", etc. but those don't get the benefits that walk-ons get.Don't think there is a roster limit, just a scholarship limit of 13 for MBB and 15 for WBB.
I think the roster limit is based on #'s needed for practice and what a coach is comfortable. Having 3 groups of 5 might be the practical limit for a lot of coaches.
Prince has been displaced from a higher spot on ESPN vs. other lists where at #28 she seems a lesser among the really elite players.Early signing week for a national letter of intent starts November 8th. Wonder if Prince will do her anticipated November school choice before that?

Me too, very much so. There were early rankings having her just out of the top ten which is where Donarski was ranked.I'll take a #28!
ESPN's #28 for 2022, Mara Braun, made the Big Ten all-freshman team and averaged 15.6 pts/game last year.
Yep, #14: https://www.espn.com/high-school/girls-basketball/recruiting/rankings/_/class/2020Me too, very much so. There were early rankings having her just out of the top ten which is where Donarski was ranked.

A lot of good players at the top of that 2020 list
Agreed on the portal. I don't think any remaining players on my current list are coming to ISU.So, on to Phase II of the recruiting for class of 2024, the portal in March 2024!
Will we be looking for a transfer PG?
Staying home does not surprise me and was my second guess as to what Prince's choice would be. A big name (maybe Baylor) was my first guess.Don't know how much ISU was really in the running but didn't see her picking the Huskers. She had better offers than NU in my opinion. Huskers just haven't seemed to be able to do much after the Connie Yori resignation and the competition to get to the top half of the Big Ten will be even more intense with the schools they are adding. Only two NCAA appearances in last seven years under Amy Williams.
