I told my wife that I would go her pace. She started walking about halfway in, and I tried running backwards to halfway get more of a challenge out of it/subtly taunt her into actually running. It had to be over 45 minutes for us.
It was pretty cool, and I would do it again at a little lower price (this time at my own pace; I think I could do it in about 34-35 minutes) as the obstacles were a lot of fun, and an interesting change of pace.
My only complaint was all the "production". I didn't need a DJ screaming at me about being a "warrior" for doing a glorified 5K. There was also some kid who was shouting out random motivational cliches as he ran through the course like "GO UNTIL YOU CAN'T GIVE ANY MORE; THEN KEEP GOING". I wanted to trip that *** hole.
I plan on abusing Clone Abuse.
DrChiro....bring it! Should be good...I'm a cyclist, but am doing a Super Spartan race in the fall...thought this would be a good intro to obstacle trekking. I've done several half-marathons...nothing off pavement though.
Don't know....I ran it in 31:49...but nobody abused me that I know of. DrChiro how'd you do?
