Walking Dead

Next season is Andrew Lincoln's last on The Walking Dead! Maybe the show is finally wrapping up and has a chance to get good again...

They want to make Norman Reedus the lead after Lincoln goes. Daryl's been a worthless character since Beth died.

This show isnt getting better.

The show needs something drastic to happen and then be done. Maggie's been pregnant for 2 1/2 seasons and still doesn't show. It's just been treading water for too long.

Edit: I should add that letting this news out was beyond stupid.

Just checking in to see who is still watching this. I dropped out and haven't turned it back one since the "who is going to die by bat" cliffhanger that one season.

If you are looking for a post-apocalyptic zombie thriller film with an Aussie outback flare you should check out Cargo on Netflix. Most excellent acting in this with Martin Freeman. Not posting a trailer, the ones I've seen give anyway too much IMHO.

I hope he turns back into a badass. He's cried more times than the number of zombies he's killed.
At the end of last season they showed Maggie talking to Jesus and Daryl about offing Rick. I still don't understand them letting it out that this is Rick's last season. Talk about losing all your shock value. Not that it really matters anymore. The shows been walking in place for far too long. This show has been on the air for 8 years

AMC ran a marathon yesterday. I checked it out a couple of times just to remind myself how far off the rails this show has gotten.

As someone who has watched this show since Season 1, I'm really ambivalent about whether or not to keep on watching it. The trailer above looks cool, but trailers always look cool. This show has been spinning its wheels and going through the motions for a couple of seasons now, with the occasional really good episode to keep you motivated to keep on watching, but I think all the energy has been sucked out of it. Writing off Rick, however it's done, might just give it a creative boost. I'll give the first episode or two a chance, but if they're stinkers, I might have to pull the plug altogether.

The positive spin I took from the trailer is it looks like a lot of daylight. The past few seasons have been nighttime scenes, which doesn't help the slow-plodding plot when I'm tired and ready for bed.

I know she wanted a big pay raise.

Just got caught up on Fear the Walking Dead. I doubt many tears were shed over the latest reveal.

Thread bump here, but is anyone else still watching "Fear the "Walking Dead"?

I have the last three episodes saved on DVR, but I think I might have to throw in the towel and give up on it. I have those episodes saved because I just don't have the interest anymore in still watching the show, which is really too bad because I started from the beginning and was a big fan and sometimes defender of it.

Madison Clark could be a frustrating character at times, but I really think killing her off earlier this season was a bad, bad move. Alicia is a good character in her own right, but having her as the only surviving character from the main family from the first season has really turned it into a different show, and one not nearly as good, despite the crossover of Morgan and some other good new characters. The introduction of some old, dirty, tattooed woman as a formidable villain has really taken it off the rails, and I just can't do it anymore.
