Walking Dead

We were talking about Merle this morning. If this show wasn't such a serious drame they could have Merle keep losing body parts and getting metal replacement parts. By the end of the show we could have some sort of RoboMerle.

In the end I think Daryl is going to off Merle because he realizes Merle is a total tool. .

Even though I gotta admit I was laughing at Merle the way he was trying to provoke everyone after they got away.

I find Andrea very annoying. And she always has that dumbfounded look on her face. Like she smells something rancid, but can't find out where it's coming from. I want to slap that look off her face.

That's her "My **** don't stink" look. I would not be upset in the slightest if she were a casualty later this season.

I don't know how I feel about Rick going crazy again. I was glad the last time when it ended so quickly.

I was watching some of the marathon yesterday, and they kill a walker outside the fence so Carol can practice giving a c-section. They make it seem as if a person is watching her at that point. We still haven't figured out who this person is, have we?

The inmates (think 2) that were previously locked out of the prison that come back later & unlock the gates & set off the alarm.

I think either Daryl will get in a pinch and Merle will sacrifice himself to save him or they will bump into another person and Merle will do something awful to that person and Daryl will end him.

In the preview it sounded like Daryl was yelling at Merle to leave him/them alone or let them be (something along those lines). So we'll see if he listens.

I think Rick is about to go crazy and live in the woods by himself for awhile and Glen is going to lead the group until he is back.

The safe assumption is the person watching from the woods was the prisoner Rick chased out who lated led the zombies into the prison and worked his way back to the boiler room.

I saw a bit of the scene where Rick locked him in the prison yard with all the walkers yesterday, and think it is a total crock that they brought him back to mess with their crap. In the original scene Rick locks him behind a wire mesh door and then tells him to run, we hear him screaming as if he just got attacked and then Rick closes the main solid door.

Q: What are the chances that Rick doesn't wait to make sure the guy is eaten before closing that door?
A: Zero

I bet Meryl messes with Carol and gets a crossbow sandwich.

Anyone wish there was more to do with the weird "scientist" guy that is in cahoots with the Gov? He could be a cool character....studying to find a cure, or find something else wrong with everyone.... etc...

The guy from the CDC couldn't find a cure, how would random guy that plays music tapes and expects dead people to remember their previous lives gonna do?

In the comic book he killed himself because his iPod died and he was a huge Nelly fan, not because his wife died, he couldn't find the cure, and ran out of generator fuel.

Ah, so he's one of those nerdy guys that really loves gangsta rap.

Yeah I agree. I understand that Jenner didn't find a cure, but it'd still be cool to see more of what he's doing.

I do think it is kind of interesting to see if there is any residual memory. It seems like some of the zombies we've seen have had some kind of link to their former lives. The one that sticks out the most to me was when they went to the church and there were zombies in their Sunday best, sitting in the pews. That has nothing to do with hunting instinct, so there must be some ghost of personality left.
