I must have had a different angle. I thought he added some nice length at the guard spot.
Wasn't able to watch live- just watched the DVR a bit ago. Ashton exceeded my expectations, knowing he was going to play today. Solid D and I thought he picked his spots well on offense while knocking down a couple. He was 2-5, and all 5 attempts were confident looks. Can't be anything but happy with his minutes.
I'd rather give some praise. Love this team. Good win today all around. Time to take down Oklahoma. Not so much love for all the constant bickering on these threads. Fine line between constructive criticism and destructive bashing. Ashton did great in his first show. Give this kid a chance to grow. We need a breath of fresh defensive hustle.....and a change of chemistry to positively go forward.
I don't know about the defense thing, Ashton could probably learn to fall down all the time too.
