Uniform Combo for TTU Game

I'd prefer it, but what I like about white-gold-white, it emphasizes the gold vs. a team that's red and black.

Use white-cardinal-white or all-cardinal vs. West Virginia -- de-emphasizing the gold vs. a gold/blue team.

Going "opposite" of opponent colors isn't the only factor for alternates, of course, but I think it adds that dynamic. (I kind of wanted to go white-white-gold at KU).

I had a feeling they might be de-emphasizing the Cardinal because of TTUs colors as well.

This looks very solid. IMO it would look much better if the jersey had white number/lettering, though.

To the guy who said it should be our base look, I believe West Virginia uses nearly this exact same look for theirs (although substituting the cardinal for Navy blue, obviously).
 
The posts from the ISU football accounts have all been deleted on Twitter... So we might be seeing something different.

It's clear that recruits love uniforms and teams that have a lot of different combos are always rated towards the top of best uniforms while traditional uniforms like Penn State and Bama are always rated at the bottom.

While I agree we don't need new ones every week. I want a new combination each week.
 
They have done something different every week, so I bet next week we see white/red/white. I like doing gold this week and red next week as TT has red in their scheme, and WV has gold.

I've never liked the yellow jerseys for football. I liked the yellow pants with white tops though. Favorite combo so far is the Iowa game all whites and the Baylor charcoal combo.

Looks good. I expect new uniforms next year with a design that integrates a little better across all pieces. Give me all four colors of everything please.

These look good, can't wait to see the white red white (maybe next week??) These rank probably number 2 behind the all red for me

I think it looks good, especially w/ the current uniforms, which can't be changed until next year. Definitely better than the r/y/y. Next year I think we do away w/ the sh stripes, but just a guess; hope so.

I personally have no problem with Cambell and Co mixing up every combination then can think of.

I'm out of the uniform business here at CF, too many negative opinions on what we should have, do in future, but I did make these up for next year, alts w/ yellow jersey. I just wanted to see what they might look like. We or I have no say in what we will have next year though, and I'm OK w/ that. I trust the coaching staff. And I like that he (CMC) is trying to mix it up. You are not going to make everyone happy.

Looks less McDonaldsish than I thought, so that's cool.

white/red/white would be fun too.

One of these years they should go for the same exact shade as the stadium grass and see if it provides any advantage.

Maybe Clone Cone Stickers on the helmets for a mental edge.
 
I'm very much looking forward to what next year will be with new uniforms. It will be setup much better for when the team rolls out in alt uniform. Yes, I know that recruits get excited about uniform combos and I loved the grays earlier this year too. White helmets? Yes please. Not every combo is great and 2 or 3 home games in normal uniforms is fine too. I like what Chris Williams says about uniforms and how it can create excitement and bring interest from recruits, but I also like what Adam Gray says and that's Just Win. Uniform changes are just flash without substance if winning is coming along with it. It takes hype to a certain level. I fully support alt unifroms, don't get me wrong and I think that CMC and staff will soon have the W's to supply the substance with the flash.
