Ugh! Berryman in trouble again

But the point is, Berryman can't even do the football thing for money. I simply can't see him working sun up to sundown for longer than a week or two.

Unless it's in a prison issued uniform and under guard watch.

You wouldn't think so with the plentiful number of felons I've worked with either. There are a crapload of people that are undisciplined in their personal lives and they find a way to survive. I just hope Jason figures it out sooner rather than later.

I've sweated under the sun with some of those folks as well. You can pretty much figure out rather quickly who got it and who still has not learned.

Seems Berryman is far from learning any sort of lesson. I don't wish ill will on the guy, but I certainly have doubts he can get it together. I feel bad for his kid.

Might be a good idea to know what Jason did before many of us self appointed judges call him a thug, and having no hope of changing for the better or being able to earn a living around here.

Ah Jason thanks again

However I am and will continue to be part of the facebook group "I'd give Jason Berryman $4 and my cell phone"

He does have a child in Iowa so he has a responsibility to be here for his family. Frankly he just needs to finish school and get a job at this point.

Yes I know he has a kid, this has been brought to my attention before. You are right, needs to finish school, get a job and move on because it's obvious that he's not going to make a living playing football at this point. Even with his talents, teams are careful about players with questionable character these days and the fact he hasn't stuck on an NFL training camp roster yet probably means it is not going to happen.

On the plus side though, he still has a ways to go to get to this guy's status as ex-player you wish was not associated with your school:

Wow, I am genuinely disappointed. I was really enjoying watching him play with the Barnstormers, and I really felt that the Barnstormers have that community-centered approach that might help him get his feet under him and make some progress. He was a lot of fun to watch.

While this really sucks particularly because IAB still has a slim chance at the play-offs, I am pleased that the team adheres to the AF2 Fan Bill of Rights and wants people of integrity on their team. I will just pull doubly hard for guys like Tanner Varner, Joe Brannen and Dan McElmore who exemplify "Iowa" values.

Granted Berryman had lots talent, but it was wasted by making very poor decisions. There are lots of good athletes out there whose questionable character immediately turns me off (Ray Lewis, Kobe Bryant, Pacman Jones) I guess liking Dennis Rodman would be my one exception.

So now he's been kicked out of the minor league of a minor league. It may be time for Berryman to go to Plan B

Working for AT&T Wireless?

I'm betting the "More bars, more places" slogan would really appear to him - but not in the way AT&T intended.

This guy is freakin 3 time loser. What a dumb***. He can't even handle being a glorified janitor....I mean Barnstormer.

I don't wish him any ill will, but I hope he moves far away and stops playing football.
