UCONN vs Iowa

What did I miss? Let me guess Oregon and UCONN aren’t good, and that’s why Iowa won. These threads are both predictable, and sad.

First.......they both beat Morehead State.....so there's that. And second.....take a walk.

Great couple days for Iowa basketball. Even if they hadn’t won both games, the promising thing for them is they are playing defense.

How much more noise does the team have to make to fill up the bandwagon?

Luka Garza is so slow his mom carried him in her womb for 18 months.

Luka Garza is so slow a chameleon can't even tell if he's actually moving.

Luka Garza is so slow he just started tying his shoelaces for his senior night game.

..............................he wears an orange reflective triangle on the back of his jersey.

Luka Garza is so slow, his email messages are considered snail mail.

Luka Garza is so slow that when he turned on a Sega Genesis Sonic the Hedgehog killed himself.

Luka Garza is so slow that when you watch him on TV he's not even in color yet.

I'm talking about Hawk Fan perception. I see glaring weaknesses just waiting to be exploited but dont tell them that.

Don't tell who that? You're completely making up Iowa fan perception. No Iowa fan thinks they are "unbeatable" or that they don't have weaknesses. But ok.

Iowa is way better when Bohannon doesn't play

They are actually a huge team when he doesn't play.

That's the best Defense Iowa has played in like 20 years.

I thought Fran's kid sucked at West High but man he changes that team.

I really think they can go 10-10 in the Big 10 10-1 nonconference with the only loss to us

20-11 is a big step u

But projections have them needing 22 wins to get in the dance. 20-11 won't cut it. They do look better than I thought they would. I predicted 19-12 but might have to bump that up 1-2 wins. Probably flirt with the bubble all year and in or out will depend on ability to get stops at end of close games. They might actually be able to do that this year.

I'm shocked that Fran's kid is actually decent. He's better than Bohannon already, which isn't saying much. Won't be surprised if he's starting soon and JBROOOO is coming off the bench in a 3-point shooting role.

I would say we have about a 1 out of 5 chance beating them in Carver this year.

Short bench, really young team, and tough road test. I have Iowa winning by 8-12 points. We will see if Maui changes my mind.

1st time Iowa fan?

I lived around the definition of Hokdom in college. Lose to Iowa State? 'Gave the game away'.

Bad bowl season? 'Beat each other up during the regular season'.

Few NCAA tourney teams? Same thing.

Iowa winning 4 or 5 games to start the year? 'Lock for the Final Four'**.

Hate ISU for their transfers and hate Tinsely because he wasn't a 4 year guy? LOVE Woolridge and Recker/Evans.

It's relentless.

**Who in their right mind thinks the Final Four is a lock for anyone in something as fickle and unforgiving as the NCAA tourney?
