Curious how many extra games they would want to play.

Do the top seeds get home games in the 1st round and would they use bowl alliances for 1st round games?

By the way, since their coach is at Nebraska when they announced this will the big 10 claim another conference championship? I'm expecting it.

I like it too, the only problem I see is what happens if you get two or three undefeated GF teams? You could see them really water down their non con schedule to go undefeated

Seems almost too simple. However, who's to say UCF still wouldn't have gotten an invite. Weren't they rated 12th? You almost have to say 1 of the 8 has to be a G5 team.

This is exactly why the playoffs need to expand. To allow top tier G5 schools to get their shot. Bias will always keep them out with the 4 team system.

IMO, you are a nonP5, you’ll need to play at least 3 P5 schools during the season to be allowed in a playoff.

As to them paying bonuses, that’s cool.

here is the super simple way to make it happen...

P5 conferences champions. conferences determine their own way of crowning a champion.
Top rated G5 member. G5 conference pre-determine how this will be settled. If they want G5 playoffs of highest AP ranking, or whatever, fine.
2 at-large bids. These are restricted to 2nd place in the conference teams only. again, each conference will determine this on their own ahead of time.

CFP committee determines seeding and 2 at-large bids. There will be controversy of these 2 but there will be regardless of what happens.

Using this system the datapoints are publicly explained ahead of time and complete buy-in as to what the criteria is.

That's a pathetic excuse. Its on the school to schedule non conference opponents that will boost their SOS to an acceptable level. Austin Peay, Florida International, and Maryland does not cut it.

2003 was a split title between LSU and USC.

Lots of years like this year where there is a major argument though. 2015 Houston. 2014 TCU. Boise State

Technically ISU beat OU more easily than UGA, so if UGA beats Bama, I think a partial NC for ISU should be what the screaming heads are raging about next Tuesday morning.

I think Frost seems like a good dude who stayed with his team the whole way but for Nebbie fans' sake I want them to be really disappointed within the next 4 years, and then for Frost to go somewhere else and win it all with a P5 but 'non-brand' program.
