Uber

Anybody know what the "taxi" option is for Uber? Are these special Uber-only taxis? Or regular taxis (Yellow/Checker) that operate with Uber?
 
Used Uber a lot in Chicago this week. Seems that several of the UberX drivers don't really know the city very well. They seemed to just follow the Uber map and didn't know short-cuts. And a few didn't recognize landmarks like The Drake Hotel. So, I had to give directions. Overall, it was fine. Cheaper is good.

I noticed this in Nashville, they 100% relied on the navi. The great thing about this is that in places like LV they can't rip you off by going on a "special" Route.
