TV slot for next week

I beleive they are allowed up to six 6 day exemptions to their 12 day rule. This could be one of them, but the OU game isn't announced yet either so I am guessing they haven't announced the entire schedule yet. Gotta be by noon today.

Here is their rules on TV

Q. When are games selected?
A. Most games are selected with either 12-day or six-day notice to the Conference. The networks each have two opportunities (four total) to select games on six days notices annually. On or before June 1, ABC/ESPN and FOX will pre-select games for the first three Saturdays; special-date games (like Thursdays), games on Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Friday. For the remaining weeks, ABC/ESPN and FOX shall select games no later than Noon CT on the 12th day preceding a Saturday telecast. ABC/ESPN and FOX have the right on four dates to make the final selection no later than Noon CT on the sixth day preceding a Saturday telecast. Generally, homecoming games will be selected at least 12 days in advance, but the Conference must consider an occasional request to use a six-day pick to select a homecoming game of significance.

Given that OSU is having their homecoming when we're in town, all the more reason we should hopefully get the pick today.

I would think they would want it on ABC for the whole revenge thing for last year regardless if we beat KState.

If I had to guess right now, I'd say TTU/TCU gets the 11 AM FX game, ISU/OSU gets the 2:30 ABC game and Baylor/Texas gets the 7 PM ABC game.

I think the TTU/TCU game is definitely the worst of the 3 games.

IMO, the only chance we have at the ABC 7 PM game is if ISU wins, and both Texas and Baylor loose. The only chance TT/TCU has at the 2:30 slot is if TCU beats Baylor and TT beats West Virginia.

I'm pretty sure ISU/OSU will land in the 2:30 ABC slot.

Hoping for 7pm on ABC so I will be able to watch it! I am going to BYU at ND that day for 2:30 Kickoff

I was sort of sad to see the time moved. I will be at a wedding in KC Friday night which will be a reunion of sorts so I am sure leaving at 8 am the next day will not be done by our group. The plan is to hit up somewhere in KC (probably near P&L) to watch the game and then experience P&L in it's fullest Saturday night. Anyone have good ideas?
There's a piano bar (upstairs I think) where we always had a good time.

:yes::yes:

What? ya can't drink beer before 9:00?

Well, of course you can drink beer before 9, but it is rather gauche. It might be cool and rainy. Bloody Marys or Hot Rum Toddys might work. Oh, and btw, since we take very young grandkids to the games, we've been looking forward to an 11 am kick. And I can't believe I'm saying that. Tough to get old.
