Good for her. Do it at your own risk. Some people, and animals, are built better to resist diseases IMO than others.
Just like the guy that smokes 2 packs of cigarettes a day and gets drunk every night and lives to 100 years old. Good for him, but that doesn't mean that anyone can do that and live to 100.
I'd rather not press my luck to find out I guess. But that's just me. Do what you want.
Oh, and of course everyone realizes how beneficial dandelions are for the environment too, right? It's better for us as a species to leave them alone than it is to get rid of them.
We have nicely manicured lawns in our 'hood and presumably a lot of chemicals. Neighbors two homes down are a 50yr old plus coffe shop Bernie sanders couple who keep their entire yard untouched by fertilizer etc and of course a million dandelions
They may live longer than us but those seeds are airborn and we're upwind from their weed patch and have spent a lot of $$ over the years warding off those effing dandelions from their property
