That it's because of them going to a 9 game Big Ten schedule plus ISU. But if had a reason to get out of the ISU and Big forms a scheduling pact with PAc 12 they would go back to playing a non con game out of state.
Other B1G schools have done the 9 + 2 P5 noncons. Not often but they do.
I'm just saying, I don't think Iowa or ISU or legislature will want the series to die no matter what conference either team is in.

The Big Ten isn’t happening. I don’t know how people are still entertaining this. The PAC 12 is a long shot. Both conferences are going to hold tight and schedule more non-con games.
So it’s AAC or Big 12 w/o Texas or Oklahoma, which JP called the Mountain West a few years back.
