Iowa State is as bad with football tradition as it gets. We can’t even get fans to wear a specific color. Might have something to do with ties to Ag and it being a busy time of year for those involved.

My favorite tradition is doing rails out of the back of my Jeep before going in to the game.

Either way, the crowd wearing matching colors, or even team apparel at all, is a phenomenon of the last 25 years. I don't know why, but sports crowd behavior fascinates me.
We have plenty of traditions; just not a lot of national exposure due to our weak history.

It's a pro hockey thing.I love the siren, especially after scores.
I think I've heard scoring siren used by other schools that don't have weather-related team nicknames. Can't recall when/who. But they need to stop it.

Bowl game destinations and Kansas City know to stock up on Busch Light before a Cyclone invasion. That's a pretty cool tradition.
