Except storm chasers don't have to chase "without a cage."

If you're close enough to a mile-wide tornado that it flips you over, sudden turn or not....then you were way too close. Not particularly responsible chasing.

I agree. Unless you're in one of freakin tanks Reed Timmer or Sean Casey have, stay the hell away from these monsters. You can film it from a safe distance, you don't have to get right next to it

Dont know if confirmed but heard that Casey's TIV was flipped over in that spot where the chasers got caught with their pants down.

Well, technically the "they" is one guy. No other official source recommends this.

Same met is now saying you have to "abandon your car" if you're in the way.

So, you have possibly told people to get in their car (with less than 10 minutes lead time), leaving their house, and now leave you car and try to run to shelter.
