TOE showing respect.

Dear Iowa,

I want to write "I love you" on a rock and throw it at your face so you can feel how much it hurts to love you.

Hugs

It is refreshing to see a few of them admit we would beat them at this point and we're the better team now, even calling out other posters for saying different.

I really don’t care what the TOE think of us, but it is apparent that some hoks prefer to watch the good guys playing exciting football over watching their boreball team lose in a weak Big 10 West.

I am proud Lou Ayeni and NW stuck it to them in the unhistoric kinnick stadium.

I’m just glad to see so many ****-toothed riverjacks have the internet and/or pay as you go smart phones.

Exactly. This. And We may overtake them in wrestling too for that matter. Who knows?

We're a looooong ways from even being able to discuss that. They're actually on the rise again, especially in recruiting. The problem for them is that the battle is for 3rd. Penn State and tOSU have a stranglehold on the top 2 spots.

It’s nice that so many Hawks acknowledged the Clones. But one theme is always clear in that thread and others like it, and that is how much Hawkeye football is built on a weak schedue. As soon as ISU and Purdue build a good program they like to opine about the coach leaving, with the hopes of weakening the schedule. One guy in that thread wants to see Heacock leave. They also like to talk about Brohm leaving Purdue.

If they could play Ohio State and Michigan once every 10 years and still be in the Big 10 their fans would be be elated. I guess that’s why they call it the Big 10....they play one big conference game every 10 years.

When you are a mediocre team flailing in the worst division of a weak conference, it tends to lead to some introspection, I imagine.

They should be happy we threw them a preseason bone early in the year the last two seasons.

I would love to change the ISU vs Iowa game to the last game in the season. Cold game in Iowa that is guarantee to bring people out.

Any respect from Iowa is usually in the form of a backhanded compliment. That usually ticks me off more than honest disdain.

We really need to beat the snot out of them next year. Then we'll hear their real feelings. None of this veiled contempt means anything because they can still say they have scoreboard over us this year.
