My cousin works at the Hy Vee on Douglas. He said Todd Blythe was walkin around in there the other day
I guess I always kind of looks at him as a poor-man's Anthony Gonzalez. Big, tall receiver, but not the fastest. If he bulked up, I could see him as a pass-catching tight end somewhere, too.
Someone one please introduce me to one of these recruiters, my wifes a Dr, should that make it easier for me?
I actually agree with Lenny. I know quite a few drug reps and many DO make that kind of money...plus have a company car. IMO being a drug rep is the biggest scam out there. You don't need a degree to do it, just be outgoing and study up on a couple of key drugs. Basically, these people are getting paid six figures to bring lunch to clinics and hospitals. They better hope that there's not major healthcare reform under the new president/congress, because we'd see a lot of expensive houses around DM for sale.

Not being argumentative here, but what exactly do you mean by a poor man's Anthony Gonzalez. Gonzo is quite a bit shorter if memory serves and quite fast. He was more of a speedster/route technician and Blythe was more of a throw it out there & I'll go up and get it kind of a guy?

Well if you like standing around all day trying to get a doctor to notice you to get their signature so you can prove you where there all the while they don't even want you there unless you are giving them a free meal as a glorified caterer. Also, no job security. MANY drug reps have been cut this last year as the economy tanked and it is LOTS of travel. Some of them cover a quarter of the state. Plus training meetings in the cities or wherever that are far from pleasure trips. If that sounds like it is worth $100,000 then go for it.
I am hoping he means Tony Gonzales the TE, not Anthony the WR. Regardless, both analysis are off. I'd more compare him to Joe Jureviceous (sp).

well, i think in college anthony was a little bit more of a go-getter, but you're right, really. i think 'route technician' is a pretty accurate description

Look up recruiters in the phone book and start calling until you find one that specializes in health car. If you want to look on line, pay the 25 bucks and sign up for medreps.com
Trust me, I'd do a lot better if I didn't need to be concerned with getting booted by the mods.
