I was at that game-with my aggie accountant friend that had 30 yard line 16 row season tickets. It was a LOT of fun! He wasn't much talking to me by Q4-just his aggie friends sitting around us. Their fans started pouring out of that stadium after 35-14. I've been to Aggie land for a few games over the years. Fun place to go. Hate it that they left the Big 12.

One other thought-If I was Matt Campbell I'd go out and find these highlight games like this one-and I would compile them into a highlight tape-And I would be sure to include the post game ISU crowd. I don't know how other teams travel-but I know when I go into these venues here in Texas (I live in Austin) that the ISU fan support is pretty impressive. Showing our team exiting Kyle Field with the ISU fans chanting ISU-ISU-ISU has to be somewhat unique to us. Good recruiting tool and a good way to show the team that what this staff is trying to do is to make this an everyday occurence. This team has some fantastic highlight reel game stuff. at Nebraska 9-6 win, several Hawkeye wins (last second field goal a few years ago) and of course the #2 ranked Okie State win. Hell I'm an old fart now and just thinking of those highlights gives me goose bumps and the desire to put on some ISU gear and run through a brick wall!!

One other funny story. I was at that game with my son. We were both in ISU gear sitting in the middle of the Aggie season ticket holders-in the middle of the row. We watched until the end. Coming in to that game I thought it might be a good game with the Aggies coming out on top. But we completely dominated. Their were frustrated Aggies on the field and in the stands. Anyway's as we were leaving after the end of the game there was an older man at the end of the row-dressed all aggie. He looked at my son and I and said "Cyclones Huh?-You got lucky!! (the score was 42-14)" and then he laughed and said great game. It was cool!.

Ya, that is still the worst no-call penalty I have ever seen. I mean the TX guy had Blythe's helmet still in his hand at the end of the play.

When the calls are that bad, I wish the TV broadcasters would call out the official by name. It's the only way some of this pro blue blood crap gets exposed.

When I went to the College Football Hall of Fame about a year and a half ago, they had the Iowa State players and fans in the closing of the video on Greatest Moments.
