Anyone know a good place in/near Ankeny to get a set of tires for a Ford Taurus? I called Big O, Graham, and Tires plus and they all seem to have high prices.
Thanks in advance.
If you're not set on buying from a physical store, I'd suggest tirerack.com. The tires I bought for my Civic were nearly 1/2 the cost of what the Goodyear outlet in Ames wanted to charge.
Cool. They have cheap prices. I take it you have to install them yourself?
Just called Wal-Mart....they are a couple hundred cheaper so far.
Not sure how they are with tires, but my G/F's mom got her oil changed there and they "forgot" to put oil back in after draining it, and she had to get her engine replace. After telling my dad this, who manages a parts department in Dubuque, he said he sells at least half his engines each year to Wal-mart for this exact reason.
Have a slow leak in one of my tires and am trying to figure out a place in Ankeny or Ames that won't screw me over... Suggestions for places?
Ford dealerships are offering a $100 rebate when you buy 4 tires. I got 4 for my Fusion when they offered this back in November, and it priced out, with the rebate, to be cheaper then most other places.

I know its not in Ankeny but Eastern Iowa Tire has always been great for me. It's just off of Euclid on Dixion by AlterSo I will ask another question. Anyone have any place in Ankeny that they had mount tires? I will just go to tire rack and get new tires, but not sure where to mount them.
