TILLER!

Right now the "answer" is moving to a power run game either Franklin playing H back or running a dual tailback offense with Woody and Arob. Moving to an 75% run offense with play action pass with limited options might take the pressure of our QB's to make reads.

AA would have gone out and thrown a couple of picks. He went out on his first drive and threw it way over the recievers head and almost got it picked off. I say Tiller is better because of the turn overs. I would like to see him start next week because I want to see how he does against a "better" team. AA has had his shot, now give Tiller a shot.

So if you like Tiller more because he turns the ball over less would you like to address his 1:4 career TD:INT ratio?

Also, its not like Tiller was invincible yesterday. Looked like he almost threw an interception right before we got our lone offensive TD.

At least you won the ****** of the year prize. I'll get to making it right now, I'll be sure to put a lot of your favorite things on it. Like dicks and stuff.

Minnesota took your advice, and look where they are at. The "answer" is Herman's spread run right. Look no further than KU, Mizzou, Boise State, Utah etc.

So you're saying if it's broke don't fix it? Look I'd love to build and drive around a Corvette, but if I only have parts for an F-150 I'm not going to try and drive it like a sports car. I'd bide my time till I have the parts and more specifically a Nascar driver and not a long haul truck driver to fly around in that sports car.

I'm waiting to see what the offense looks like when we have a qb that Herman wants... i.e. barnett

I agree. Arnaud is better, people just need to accept it. I highly doubt Tiller starts for us next year.

AA is better? What are you basing your opinion on? If Tiller had the same playing time then your opinion would have some merit. You are saying Tiller is not as good as AA with just seeing glimpses of him. We have had three years of AA and I can say with some certainty that he's is not that good. Tiller may suck too, or he may just need to get some PT under his belt and he may become a great QB.

For the love of God people, it's AustEn. It's really unreal how you guys don't learn our players names... especially guys who have been a starter for 3 years. It's just like the people who called Bret Meyer, Brett Meyers. He was a starter for 4 years. How hard is it to learn the name of your qb? /rant

Oh my god, I spelled his first name wrong!!!!!!!!

THE WORLD IS GOING TO END!!!!!!!

AAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tiller is better? What are you basing your opinion on? It can be thrown right back in your face. You say that he MAY just need some PT and he MAY become a great QB. I agree with those statements for the most part (I think Tiller can definitely improve, but I don't know if I ever see him becoming a great QB). Regardless, your entire premise for preferring Tiller is based on potential and wishcasting. He MIGHT get better, he MIGHT have a higher ceiling than AA, he MIGHT become a great QB. But mights don't become reality all of the time and they certainly don't change the reality of the present.

At this moment in time, I would say that a healthy Austen Arnaud at QB is this team's best option to win football games. People can disagree with me & that's their right. But Tiller has done nothing to this point in his career to make me think that he gives the Cyclones a better chance to win RIGHT NOW. The one thing that Tiller supporters seem to keep bringing up is that he doesn't turn the ball over, but I've yet to see somebody explain away his 1:4 TD:INT ratio for his career. That doesn't mean that I think Tiller doesn't have room for improvement....I think he can get a lot better. That doesn't mean that I think he's never going to be ISU's starting QB. That doesn't even mean that I think Arnaud should start every game the rest of this season. But right now, I want CPR and staff doing everything possible to win games and try to get to another bowl.

I understand that some people are ready to move on and start developing for the future and I can totally understand that sentiment. Personally though, I don't want to give up on this season and just start playing young guys for the sake of getting them experience (and I'm sure all of the seniors on the squad feel the same way). As long as a bowl game is a possibility, we should be playing to win, and not for the future. That being said, I still think we can get Tiller some valuable game experience this season (see how Arnaud was used Bret Meyer's senior year).

I'm not giving up on the season by wanting Tiller in. Sorry I saw how AA has been playing for 3 years and saw how Tiller played yesterday. I'm sticking with Tiller on this one. Not because he's better, but because he plays the same as a 5th year senior.
