TILLER!

I'm waiting to see what the offense looks like when we have a qb that Herman wants... i.e. barnett

Interesting comment--considering that when Herman was hired, he said that part of the reason he was excited about the job was because he has seen Austen put up the 440 yards the year before...

DAMN
that historical accuracy!!!!

Alright I'm not going to argue anymore I think everyone knows where I stand. Continue this thread if you want.

I'm not giving up on the season by wanting Tiller in. Sorry I saw how AA has been playing for 3 years and saw how Tiller played yesterday. I'm sticking with Tiller on this one. Not because he's better, but because he plays the same as a 5th year senior.

So you're admitting that Tiller isn't better than Arnaud? Because that's how this reads.

If Tiller gets all the snaps this week he will be 100 times better than this week. The thing is, maybe our defense is not that bad? Maybe turnoves by AA are putting them in bad spots.

I'm saying he's better because he's just as good as a 5th year senior.

You are basing this on the fact that his numbers are worse than AAs and he played the worst team in terms of pass defense that we have played in two years. Ok makes sense. Totally rational. If you want Tiller to play because in the long run it may help us, that's fine. I disagree with that but it is at least rational. The point that makes no sense is saying Tiller is better when it is obvious he is not.

I meant it in a way, of Herman getting a quarterback that he recruited.

You do know that you contradict yourself at least 3-4 times a week.

What turnover that AA had this year put our defense in a tough spot. None against Iowa. The KSU one did, however, I don't know that that was all his fault. NIU, maybe but he also was pretty decent that game.

I did not see the game, but the stats tell it all. Tiller obviously didn't set the world on fire, and missed a lot of open passes. Unfortunately, it looks like ISU just does not have a good QB right now. AA is probably the best we have, but he is not very good. For those of you that are trying to excuse AA because of the number of systems he has been in, let's try to remember that one of the biggest problems AA has is with completing passes to wide open guy down field. I don't care what system you are in, throwing good passes to open guys is part of the plan.

None against Iowa, but you answered your own question. Whats his td to int ratio again? What is Tiller's? Who is the Senior?

Was Tiller 100 times better the week after the Nebraska game last year? Go check out the stats. And regarding turnovers, you really do have a point. All those damn QB turnovers in the K State game just killed us....oh wait, how many turnovers did we have in that game? I forgot.

Let's look at some facts. UNI has by far the weakest defense that we have played so far this year and according to some the best QB on our roster could only muster 88 yards passing with 50% completion while taking 4 sacks in a spread offense. I'm not trying to pile on Jerome here, I'm really not. But at some point people need to realize that the problems with this offense extend beyond whoever happens to be taking snaps in the shotgun.

UNI is not a bad team, they beat NDSU who has beat KU and gave NU all sorts of fits.

That NU game was his first ever start. Also if you watched that Texas A&M game we were without the most important person on our team last season.......Reggie. Hard for a redshirt freshman to make his second start with a new center.

For their career (TD/INT):

Arnaud 31:29
Tiller 1:4

You tell me, what's better? 1 INT for every TD or 1 TD for every 4 INTs? Neither one is great, but the answer seems pretty obvious to me.
