THT Going into the Draft

Going late first round is not a bad landing spot. He'll end up on an above average team there.

A good, well-run, well-managed, well-coached team... that would be comfortable sticking him in their development program for a year or two in the D-League and coaching him up, working on his body... not needing reinforcements right way... bringing him up when he is ready, and having, again, a coaching staff that is good and can probably think outside the box on good ways to use Talen's unique size, length, and handle for a 2-3 man.

That is a pretty ideal situation for Talen.

Lindell probably gone too. I'm still not sure Terrance Lewis sticks around. He seemed very unhappy during the season. Maybe that changes now.

Zion has to develop into a Big 12 caliber player. We sure didn't see much of anything from him in 2019. Not that he can't develop, but you sure can't call it a "sure thing" at this point.

I’m very optimistic about Zion. He didn’t show much because there were many really good players ahead of him.

Hello Raptors and a Fred Van Fleet-type path...
If the Warriors keep KD and Klay they are going to need good talent on a cheap deal to surround those three max contracts. Warriors have their late first round pick. Having a One-and-Done NBA Champ to use on the recruiting trail would be HUGE for Prohm.

I’m plenty calm, just don’t see enough talent to finish in the top half of the conference

Yeah, if Wigginton is gone, they will be picked to be in the bottom of the conference. Unless guys greatly improve or the new guys surprise, it looks like a team that will have a lot of trouble scoring.

Bleacher Report has him 22nd. Sporting News has him 24th. CBS Sports has him 24nd. Sports Illustrated has him 25th.
I looked at NBADraft.net and they don't even have him in the 2nd as well. Basically some that don't have him at all and then most others have him late 1st round it appears.....

NBA Draft Net is a joke in the NBA Draft community, basically like ESPN HS basketball rankings

I am all for having as much talent on the roster as possible, but when you think of "bad attitude" and "hero ball" last year, there are three names that come to mind.

Two of them now appear to be gone. The other one was playing his best ball at the end of the season, but remember his Roger Dorn olé ******** on defense can be painful.

NBA Draft scouts are OBSESSED with youth and potential. THT has both.

I could care less about the NBA. He’s a Chicago kid, so I’m guessing his “handlers” are very much involved and looking out for their own $$$ interests.

His recruitment out of high school and the whole thing with the Mac Irvin Fire club team and his “rejection” at Illinois told me all I needed to know that he wouldn't last.

Does anyone have the source of who said Lindell has been in Canada at home and not at school? Hopefull it isn’t true.
