Thoughts on remaining Big 12 schedules

ISU v KSU…one of the biggest program games we’ve had. Measured against the expectations of this season…you need this game after what happened against Iowa and Baylor. It’s on the road.. a place CMC never has won, Thompson back at QB, a must have win for KSU after being 0-2. A loss would be a devastating
The KSU game will tell us where ISU's offensive line is. OU's o-line pushed around the KSU defense yesterday, especially as the game wore on, and OU could get rushing yards when they needed them. If ISU's offensive line struggles with KSU, there are going to problems for the rest of the season.

Based on what I've seen of the conference so far, I think ISU's defense will have ISU in every game. The ISU offense and special teams have to perform at the same level.

K-state should be favored vs ISU
KState should have beat OU. Consistently had OU on their heels with blitzes. Had 1 fumble all day and OU scooped it up and ran it back 70 yds. Successful on 4 of 5 -4th down plays. One punt all day --60 yds. OU could not get them off the field. We won't either.

Ahhh...no. Not sure which game you were watching. OU was rolling over KSU's defense from mid 3Q on. A stupid OU PF penalty pushed the OU kickoff back 15 yards and allowed KSU to return a kickoff for TD to make a one-score game. KSU couldn't stop OU to get the ball back.

Watched the highlights from OSU vs BU a bit ago. Baylor went for 4th and 4 at somewhere around their own 25-30 with 8 minutes left in the game and down by 3. Just not sure what they were thinking.

Yes, you are correct. I did't watch it all. OU definitely got tougher as the game wore on. Still, KSU looked very good on ball control, 4 of 5 4th down conversions. Error free.

On the runback. We will not kick the ball into the EZ every time. And we are definitely prone here.

ISU hasn't won there since 2004, and ISU's prior performance in the only conference road game this season.
In our prior performance in the only conference road game of the season we nearly beat a team that is better than K-State and only lost because of some bad special teams and fluky first half defense.

So much negativity. This isn't your mamma's ISU team It's Brocktober now, we ain't losing again.

We have a better defense than OU.
