They are not a Final Four team until they make it to the Final Four. Saying that now is ridiculous. Just like the talking heads on ESPN were calling Iowa a potential Final Four team last year. It was ridiculous. ISU could make a run and reach the Final Four or they could lose in the 1st round. Anything could happen.

Kentucky is probably the only team right now that I would say could legitimately consider themselves a Final Four team.

As a program we should strive to be a consistent second weekend team, if you do that things will fall your way periodically and you will get to a final 4, then its a crapshoot.

Getting into the Sweet 16 is a big deal, beyond that is gravy, I'll never tire of Sweet 16 appearances. Do I expect that Fred will take us further, absolutely. We have almost done it the last 2 years, without size. We are fine, last night I had visions of the Morgantown Massacre last night only to see us claw our way back into it and have a real chance to walk out of there victorious. In Fred's 3 tourney teams they have always peaked at the right time, this year should be no different. I would rather not be lights out right now, because there is a great chance that you will fade, games like this keep the kids working hard. No reason that if we win Saturday that a 5-1 start to conference play shouldn't happen, would all of you take that from this "flawed team"?
