The Truth (with no dare involved) .........

When i was about 9 or 10, my dad owned a bar that was fulla drunk rowdy hawk fans every saturday during the fall. Hated the hawks ever since.

Im also the guy who will eventually make an edit of the original Tecmo Bowl(the one with only 12 teams) and turn it into a Big 12 rom. The world will then bow at my feet.

Ive also driven to/attended road games in KU/MU by myself.
 
The shirt Dan McCarney wore for his last game at ISU has a red smudge on the back thanks to my red arm... :rolleyes:

Just a (somewhat) recent ISU grad who had a tendancy to show up at games and express support for his team...
 
I once wrestled Harold Nichols to the floor while he was in his underwear and a robe.

I dated a cheerleader for FB & Men's BBall while attending ISU.

I attended Johnny Orr's BBall camp as a kid and Victor Alexander was also there. Big Vic visited the dorm room I was staying in for the camp and stole my pizza one night.

A stripper at BJ's Lucky Lady that dated Kelvin Cato took a fancy to me one night.

I went fishing with Pete Taylor.

I once extended my hand to Hayden Fry and when he reached for it I pulled it back and made him whiff (I know....nothing to do with ISU, but a good story none the less).

And yes....it is all true.

Worked training table at college and talked pretty regular with LaFester Rhodes, Sam Mack, Victor Alexander, Terry Woods, Brett Oberg, Jeff Grayer, and others. Very hard to understand LaFester talk though, except for the swear words.

Got mugged by 3 ISU football players of $8 going down the elevator to get my Pizza Pit pizza. Now I'm hungry.

Been a diehard Cyclone fan since I was knee high to a grass hopper.

First person I met at ISU was Shawn Bankhead. I used to work in the press box for food service. 1997 & 1998 were brutal years for ISU. Talk about cushion from the DB's. I think Dustin Avey used to play 30 yards from the line of scrimmage every play.

I also lived right next to Cael Sanderson and Joe Heskitt my sophmore year. Cael and I used to have wrestling contests in the hall way of Linden and I never won!
 
i am a current ISU student and a life long cyclone fan. My dad graduated from ISU.

He was attending college when i was like 5 or 6 and i remember walking through campustown and we walked past coach orr, i said look daddy its johnny orr, he walked past me rubbed his hand on top of my head and he responded "hey coach" it is a memory i will never forget. i talked about it for weeks..
 
ISU Grad. Played pick up basketball with almost every football player and basketball player from 96-00. Threw down a lob from Jamall Tinsley and Tony Alford.

Sat down as a Head football coach with Cotton and Alford to learn how to block and run the zone inside and outside plays.

AND bailed my buddy out of Jail in Phoenix after the 00 Bowl Game.

Did anyone ever beat him? I often wonder just how JEALOUS Dan Gable is of Cael. I think VERY.

I was there with a buddy as well and we came very close to visiting the same place. I wonder how close we were sitting to each other. I'll never forget the runback.
