Holy Christ, some of you guys are better at making crazy assumptions than I've ever seen before.
Ya, I haven't gotten too worked up yet, but I would say I'm 70% convinced this league is about to fall apart.
Hopefully we land in the Big East along with KU and K-State and can elevate our stature due to winning more games.
This was all fun for awhile, but I really hope that whatever is going to happen happens fast. ISU obviously has no control over any of it anyway, and I'd just like to know if I have to hate college football after this season or not.

Short term this would stink but long term could be in the best interest of ISU. Depending on how TV negotiations go with the Big East and if a few more teams from the West come in there could be a nice pay day and not much of a drop off from current/future Big 12 revenues. Again, it all depends on how other conferences shake out and if the 16 team conference thing comes about.

Now that is something that we can tie this together with, two board of directors, Deaton from MU (President) and Boren from OU (Secretary) took a trip to aTm to throw some papers on their desk telling them to sign there and told them where to send the $28 million check.

That may suggest a more innocent purpose. I would add that Boren is a former U.S. Senator, highly intelligent and highly respected among his colleagues, both R and D.
