Well QBUMizzou what ya think? Is there substance to this whole crazy talk?

A friend of mine (Mizzou official) just called. That plane is a Baron, and is reserved for faculty and administrators for "official business" only.

Now, it's important to remember that Deaton is the chairman of the Big 12 board, so this could be something pertaining to exit fees.

However, I highly doubt that exit fee info and documentation would be passed this way and it would make no sense for an OU official or plane to be involved in that process.

Bottom line? It could be nothing. But the timing and destinations do give us valid reasons to wonder what the heck is going on with that plane.

One thing by checking out Twitter tonight is that everyone outside of Big 12 thinks that there is no way in he!! we are bringing in Notre Dame, Pittsburg or Arkansas; some don't even think BYU would even consider...

ChipBrown is being bashed all over the place after his tweet earlier:

Sources tell Orangebloods.com #Big12 presidents expect #TAMU to bolt and discussed #ND, Ark, Pitt and #BYUhttp://twitter.com/#!/search?q=#SEC

Not exactly. It's a flight training plane that can be reserved for faculty and administrators for "official business".

That was my first thought.

It's a good thing then that students don't use it to fly to Iowa for a Templeton Rye run. Who else would use a university plane and what else would it be used for other than "official" business.

Not gonna argue with that. Just reporting what he told me.

It's completely reasonable to assume someone did in fact "reserve" the plane for official business because others have posted that the training school is closed at this time of day.

LandThieves LandThieves
Either the flight was the A&M walking papers delivered by OU/Mizzou or the 3 are planing something. Flight path cant be coincidental

How awesome would it be if this is just a bunch of people using the plane to practice night flying, but going back and forth to those destinations just to mess with us?
